What’s in a Name
Our name refers to the perinatal period—the crucial weeks and months before and after birth when support, care, and connection matter most.
It’s also a nod to the Greek prefix peri (is our nerd showing?), meaning “around,” “enclosing,” or “near.” That’s what we do: surround parents with support.
From curating your registry and designing your nursery to introducing you to local experts and new parent pals—Peri connects good people and good resources, right where you live.

Niki High, co-founder
Niki & Kiki met as summer camp counselors an undisclosed number of years ago and have been friends ever since.
After Niki experienced pregnancy & birth, she knew it was time to help others through the perinatal stage of life.
With their experience working in mental health (Niki) & design (Kiki), they decided they might be the right team—along with trusted experts—to help pregnant people be informed, feel supported, and live beautifully.
