Peri’s Prenatal Series: Preparing for more than birth. Together.
An 8-week, in-person group for Atlanta parents-to-be—combining expert guidance with lasting community.
So when your baby arrives, you’re as prepared as you can be and surrounded by people to help you figure out the rest.
Next session: March 31 - May 19, 2026
Location: The Intown Retreat, Decatur
Peri’s expert-led workshops go beyond birth basics to support every part of becoming a parent: your mental health, identity, relationships, and recovery. Meeting with Atlanta’s top perinatal specialists face-to-face means you can ask real questions, get evidence-based answers, and know exactly who to call when you need support.
Postpartum can be isolating—but it doesn’t have to be. Each group is designed to foster true connection and transition seamlessly into a New Parent Play Circle. So when your baby arrives, you’ll have a weekly parent play date where spit-up-covered sweats and sleep deprivation are always welcome.
Becoming a parent is a whole-person transformation.
The Experience
Each week combines conversation, reflection, and expert insight.
Expect warm, judgment-free discussions alongside evidence-based guidance from Atlanta’s top perinatal specialists including: doulas, dietitians, pelvic floor physical therapists, lactation consultants, mental health professionals, and more.
Topics include:
Birth planning & postpartum recovery
Mental health & identity
Relationships & communication
Pelvic floor & prenatal/postpartum exercise
Nutrition for pregnancy & postpartum
Beyond Birth
After the series, your group becomes a new parent play circle—continuing the connection and support through your first year of parenthood.
Peri Play Circles are small, local, age-based groups where new parents can laugh about blow-outs, swap sleep tips, and celebrate even the tiniest victories.
Each Circle is designed to make real friendships easy, support accessible, and daily life feel just a little lighter.
Think: weekly meetups in cozy spaces, spontaneous Beltline strolls, park picnics, and text threads where your 3 a.m. “is this normal?” question always gets an answer.
